CAMO Postholder

Location: Dublin , Dublin

POSITION SUMMARY

Flexjet Europe, a private aviation Company that operates the world's most luxurious and exclusive private jets, is currently searching for a CAMO Postholder to join our team.

The CAMO Postholder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Part M and Part CAMO regulations, fleet is maintained and airworthy at all times through the effective management of work order packages for line, base and unscheduled maintenance. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to oversee Flexjet’s aircraft historical records and related aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with EASA and Flexjet’s national authority regulations and procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As the postholder will be the main point of contact for the Irish aviation authority airworthiness team.
  • Responsible for overall compliance with Part M and Part CAMO regulations.
  • Liaise and coordinate with other Flexjet CAMO organizations to align processes and procedures
  • Monitor aircraft cycles and flying hours to ensure time-sensitive inspections, scheduled maintenance or MEL/CDL expiration times do not lapse,
  • Evaluate reported aircraft discrepancies and develop appropriate recovery plan,
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to perform maintenance when operational schedules permit,
  • Evaluation of short, medium and long term maintenance requirements, and implement plans such to meet all regulatory requirements whilst maintaining the most efficient operation and achieving the Company’s commercial goals,
  • Review aircraft work packages for appropriate signatories, stamps, and sign-offs, to ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is carried out on time and in accordance with AMM, AMP and all applicable regulations,
  • Keep the maintenance records well updated according to the airplane’s history,
  • Attend and participate in the daily meeting to ensure that all scheduled tasks have been done in a timely manner,
  • Support the CAMO team to manage the AD, SB, Modification assessment and approval process,
  • Monitoring the fleets technical condition and coordinate maintenance plans, as required, with the operations department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in a CAMO environment
  • B1 or B2 Certificate or degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Aircraft Maintenance/Planning, preferably in a VIP/Executive Maintenance environment
  • Have knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145 and Part-21 requirements
  • Experience in Maintenance Planning and knowledge of aircraft materials, logistics and parts provision
  • Ability to deliver strategic plans for the fleet
  • CAMO training and Part-145 training experience
  • Aircraft Technical Courses and Aviation Regulations course will be considered a plus

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess the legal ability to work in Ireland
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • CAMP experience highly desired
  • Ability to function effectively independently or as a team member and manage a flexible schedule
  • Successful candidate must be able to respond calmly and handle many demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written/computer skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level
  • Successful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self-starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints
  • Understanding of non-scheduled, on demand aircraft operations
  • Ability to work in a team environment with all stakeholders including Flight Operations, Scheduling, Flight Dispatch, Maintenance, Cabin Service, Ground operations.
